This is not a Faraday bag. It’s not meant to cover your device, but instead cover your body to protect you from device emissions. How to Use

Getting the Most from Your EMF Blanket

1. Position the blanket between your body and the EMF source. The shielding works directionally — place it over your lap when using a laptop, over your torso when using a phone in bed, or over your body when near a WiFi router. The blanket reduces radiation from getting to the other side; it does not create a sealed enclosure around you.
2. Use for work with a laptop. Drape the blanket across your lap, torso, and legs with the device on top — this positions the shielding between the laptop's underside (a major EMF emission point) and your body. You can continue working normally: WiFi, video calls, and all connections remain active. We recommend using a hard-sided DefenderShield laptop shield to offer ELF protection as well.
3. Use during sleep or rest. Pull the blanket over your body while sleeping near a phone, router, or other wireless device. The Medium size covers the top surface of a full bed, the Large covers the top of a queen bed, and the X-Large size covers the full top surface of a king mattress for whole-body protection during sleep.
4. Use the hood to swaddle infants and babies. The built-in hood carries full EMF shielding. Wrap the blanket around your baby with the hood over their head for protected swaddling during quiet time. Do not use it as a blanket for your child unsupervised until 18 months old.
5. Travel use. The blanket is a practical travel companion — use it on planes where WiFi and device emissions are close and constant, in hotel rooms near routers, or any environment where you want a simple, portable layer of protection.

Care Instructions — Protecting the Shielding Layer

• Recommended: use the optional duvet cover — machine washable, protects the blanket from stains, and reduces the frequency of hand washing needed.
• Hand wash only (without duvet cover): use cold, soapy water with mild detergent or specialized metallic fabric cleaner. Be gentle.
• Air dry only — do not place the blanket in a dryer. Hang to dry completely before use.
• Do not bleach, iron, or dry clean — these can damage the metallic shielding fibers and reduce effectiveness.
• Machine washing and tumble drying will degrade the shielding material over time and are not covered under warranty.
